A diesel locomotive and a tank with gasoline derailed in the Novosibirsk region, reports the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m. at Sokur station. Prosecutors say the derailment did not affect traffic. The security forces began an investigation.

Since September last year, more than 65 people have been detained in cases of “sabotage” on the railway, every third of whom is a minor. The number of arrests has increased since January due to a new “sabotage” package of laws. Read about changes in legislation in our material .
