VKontakte blocked the group of the Omsk environmental initiative “We should live in Omsk.” AvtozakLIVE drew attention to this.

“Dear friends, the inevitable has happened. As you can see, lately our repressive machine has set itself up to fight ecology, nature and environmental activism. You and I have fallen into the millstones of this regime of tyranny!” - written on the community page.

The group, among other things, criticizes the decisions of local officials, as well as the war with Ukraine.

• Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, VKontakte has been massively blocking the pages of opposition activists and politicians , as well as the public pages of independent publications and communities . Similar blockings were carried out by Odnoklassniki. In some cases, Telegram channels and podcasts on the Yandex.Music and SoundStream platforms were also blocked.
