The publication "Re: Russia" writes :
“Almost half of the Russians (46%) consider the criticism of incompetence, corruption and underestimation of Russian military losses, with which Prigozhin in recent months fell on the Ministry of Defense and the Army Command, follows from the results of the Levada Center’s telephone survey (will be brought to the register of foreign agents-Polit.ru) on June 28-July 1. Of these, 16% consider criticism completely justified and 30% - partially substantiated. <...>
Prigozhin is considered to be justified criticism of 66% of those who are entitled in their information diet on YouTube channels <...>. 59% of readers of Telegram channels and 55% of those who focus on Internet media <...>. Among these categories, the share of the undoubted - 14–18%is significantly lower, with an average sample of 24%. Especially a lot of undefined in this matter is found among viewers - 28%, which is not surprising, given that Prigozhin’s claims to the Ministry of Defense did not receive wide lighting on federal channels. Accordingly, only 36% of “viewers” consider his criticism justified and the same - unreasonable. In other categories of media consumption, the share of supporters of the second opinion is less than 25%.
The survey showed that more than half of Russians (52%) carefully monitored the development of the rebellion, and another 40% heard something about it. Only 8% first heard about him from half stars. These are very high awareness values. At the same time, Telegram and YouTube users paid the most attention to the rebellion. <...>
However, even a widely separated opinion that criticism of the Prigozhin authorities had reason, could not prevent the growth of his anti -rating. As RE already wrote: Russia, according to sociologists, the rebellion contributed to reducing the support of Prigozhin and his main antagonist in the conflict of Sergei Shoigu. <...>
Summarizing all these figures, we can say that the rebellion and the appearance of Prigogin’s figure on the political stage with his fierce criticism of the authorities and the course of the “military operation” made a strong impression on the Russian public. This was facilitated by the fact that Prigozhin appeared for her simultaneously in two forms: the hero <...> (65% of the survey participants positively evaluate the participation of Wagner PMC in the conflict with Ukraine) and the harsh critic of the authorities (about half consider his claims to be reasonable to some extent). And although the rebellion caused fleeting shock/fright and serious alertness in society, even after its end, the Prigogine support group is about 20% of the respondents. At the same time, more than 30% of respondents did not determine in their attitude towards what happened or prefer not to express it. This to a certain extent explains the caution of the Kremlin’s actions: too sharp and cruel measures regarding the participants of the rebellion are able to deepen the split of the “wire coalition”, for which Prigozhin created serious prerequisites. ”
