RIA Novosti is given by the results of a study by the online service of the alternative lending Moneyman about the attitude of Russians to the weakening of the ruble:

“More than half of Russians (56%) are sure that the weakening of the ruble will not affect their material well -being or the quality of life. Another 23% announced a slight degree <...>.

At the same time, every sixth respondent is not so optimistic: 16%reported about the expectation of a significant deterioration in his well-being due to changes in the ruble exchange rate. The remaining 5% found it difficult to answer.

The analysts have clarified the reason for their response in more positively configured participants in the study. It turned out that such expectations for many of them (43%) are due to the fact that they do not make foreign trips. Another 38% do not save money in currency, and they have no regular need to pay for it.

In addition, almost a third (31%) of respondents have no plans to buy <...> new cars and household appliances <...>. Another 24% (answered - ed.) - I do not buy imported goods in principle. 22% - the highest possible peak of the negative impact of the weakening of the ruble has already been passed, 17% - I find it difficult to answer or other reasons. ”
