The FSB conducted an “inspection” of the apartment of a resident of the Kirov region because of posts on Instagram

In Kirovo-Chepetsk, FSB officers conducted an “examination” of the apartment of a local resident because of her posts on social networks. She herself told OVD-Info about this, wishing not to reveal her name; a copy of the court decision on the “examination” of the apartment is at the disposal of the editors.

According to the security forces, the girl’s actions show signs of public calls for extremism (Part 2, Article 280 of the Criminal Code). They decided to conduct a "survey" to find the device from which these appeals were distributed on the Internet, as well as "extremist literature" and other prohibited items. As a result, the FSB seized the girl's phone.

The interlocutor of OVD-Info noted that the security forces have screenshots of her anti-war posts and stories on Instagram. Earlier, due to publications against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the girl was fined 30 thousand rubles, imputing an article on discrediting the Russian army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
