We are looking for two editors at once - for our new shows
The studio of the Podcasts of Medusa has large (and, of course, ambitious) plans, so we want to strengthen its team. This post is about two vacancies at once: editor and junior editor of the studio. It is very important: we will not be able to offer work to those who are in Russia. At the same time, we are not fundamentally, what kind of citizenship you have.
Editor
What to do
Invent and launch new shows, as well as new seasons of podcasts that are already coming out. The editor of our studio is a project showrander, he (or she) is responsible for their creation and regular way out. You will oversee, moderate, edit and release podcasts, offer topics and guests for issues. And also - to launch promo for your show, and not only on Medusa. And all this is in a team with leading, installations, producer and other editors.
What you need to be able to
- It is best if you are already engaged in podcasts (or engaged in the recent past). For example, you are an author, editor or producer of your own show, collaborated with other production and studios.
- It’s good if you have an editor’s experience in online media. That is, you may not be a ready -made editor of podcasts, but you just need to be an editor.
- You understand how the texts for voicing differ from reading texts. For example, you can edit the article so that its audio version is easily perceived by ear.
- It will be a plus if you can mount. Or at least you understand how the programs for recording and editing sound are arranged.
Junior editor
What to do
Help editors start and release podcasts. Offer topics for seasons and episodes, look for experts and guests. Organize notes, be in touch with installers and leading. Participate in the editors of episodes. Write annotations for releases, invent the headlines. And of course, it is professionally growing in order to turn into an editor in the future from the younger editor.
What you need to be able to
- Ideally, if you already have experience as an editor or producer in podcasts, online media, on youtube or in any related areas.
- You need to love podcasts, not be afraid to communicate with people, be able to invent and write competently.
- It will be a big plus if you can mount and are familiar with sound recording equipment.
Conditions
We offer:
- White salary in the euro,
- Full time,
- The ability to work remotely, but not from Russia.
Once again: if you are in Russia and are categorically not ready to move, this vacancy, unfortunately, is not for you.
