The leader of the DDT group, Yuri Shevchuk and musician Dmitry Emelyanov, the guitarist and Zedzov’s keyboard player, released the joint album “Wolves in the Tire” . It contains nine songs about the war.
As the musicians themselves said during crowdfunding to record the album, they have been working on it since the summer of 2022. Earlier on the platforms, two songs from the “Wolves” - “Homeland, come back home” and “The funeral of war” have already been released.
In the accompanying text to the album, Shevchuk notes that the DDT group “is in good health”, but he wanted to work with other musicians and experiment with the sound: “From the very beginning of the work, we agreed with Dima that we wanted to achieve analogous light-luminous sound in the style of the 1970s. We were united by love for the times of dawn of real rock music. ”
In addition to Shevchuk and Emelyanov, the musicians Dan Bailey, Alena Romanova, Manizh, the theme of Mamai, Anton Vishnyakov took part in the record. The cover used the graphics of the Estonian artist Yaan Tamsaar.
Don't go crazy
This is not your war.
Waiting for rooks in the fields in the spring.
Homeland, come back home.
The concert in Tyumen was canceled
Did not happen in Moscow, we are going further
Accused love of treason
Well without money and less falsehood
In the clouds it is sneaked
Dron - he is silent.
He is like a black raven
He looks at me gloomily.
Falls and breaks -
There is always a goal.
Honey, save us all
From this fire.
Sing a bright song, dude.
Sing for love - and it will be so.
With all the earth for the war
We will arrange a funeral.
