Several Russian companies associated with St. Petersburg businessman and founder of the Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin have received government contracts worth at least one billion 64 million rubles since Prigozhin's mutiny , RTVI reports, citing contracts for organizing meals in schools and hospitals.
The largest customer was the education department of the Mytishchi administration in the Moscow region, which concluded a contract with Prodfutservis LLC for more than 705 million rubles. The contract assumes that the company will supply food to schools in the Moscow region in 2023-2025.
Other suppliers include OOO AVK, ZAO Kombinat Doshkolnogo Pitanie (KDP), and OOO Russotskapital, which are associated with Prigozhin. Among the customers are several hospitals and clinics, as well as the Artek children's camp.
State institutions do not plan to terminate old contracts concluded with Prigozhin's structures. In response to RTVI's inquiry about the contract for organizing meals for the "Medical and Health Center under the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs" with OOO "AVK", the ministry noted that so far no complaints about the supplier's work have arisen, so there are no grounds for termination.
