Recall that in the April of this year, the head of the Vera charity fund Nyuta Federmeser published a video message in which she spoke about deaths in PNI-10. It turned out that the wards of the boarding school were depleted, they are constantly hospitalized in the Alexander Hospital with the same complaints, in particular - about pneumonia. Before the appeal of the Federmeser, no one saw anxious signs in frequent hospitalizations: in the end, the disabled who went to PNI from orphanages have “multiple mental and physical disorders”.

As a result of publicity , problems with the departure of the wards in PNI-10, in particular, to the lack of staff, became known.

In addition, the “prospects” volunteers say, by itself, moving from an orphanage to the “adult” PNI, which is required under Russian law, leads to serious depression in patients, which exacerbates somatic diseases. This problem is not related to a specific boarding school, it remains common for the entire PNI system, but in the 10th boarding school it got up especially acutely.

The Investigative Committee is working on what happened in PNI-10, but so far it is not known about the results. The audit conducted by the officials that the PNI-10 administration obeys did not find violations.

“More than 16 inspections passed all kinds of, only a criminal case remained, which is investigated by the Investigative Committee. All the checks showed us that the incident does not coincide with the activities of the institution, ”Lyubimov announced (quote for Fontanka). All the dead, according to him, after the orphanages lived "from three to five years, which in itself has a long time", taking into account their "multiple mental and physical violations."

“This is a lot of pain for us, we are pulling each person until the very last day. Whether there were violations, the investigation will figure it out, but so far I do not see anything like that there, ”added Lyubimov.
