According to the results of 2022, the debt of Russian Post reached 133 billion rubles, the company managed to achieve debt restructuring and avoid default, Interfax reports with reference to the CEO of the company Mikhail Volkov.

Volkov at a meeting of the Committee of the Council of Economic Policy called last year "catastrophic" for the company. “Post” received a record loss - more than 30 billion rubles, a large accumulated debt - 133 billion rubles, while most of this debt has no sources of return and repayment, ”Volkov said.

According to him, the company will have to spend about 16 billion rubles annually for serving debt. Volkov added that the company launched a financial recovery program.

"We get rid of ineffective costs. We optimized managers by 20% in the country as a whole. If we talk about the central apparatus, here in Moscow we cut our costs 25%," the head of the company said.
