On July 20, the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Perm fined ex-deputy of the local Legislative Assembly Konstantin Okunev 250,000 rubles because of statements with a negative assessment of Putin's personality. This was reported by the press service of the court.
The case went to court at the end of June, the reason for the persecution was a post on VKontakte published in May. According to the security officials, the publication contained “statements expressing a negative assessment of the personal qualities of the current head of state, his personality as a whole, as well as a clear disrespect for society, the state, official state symbols of the Russian Federation, the Constitution of the Russian Federation or bodies exercising state power in the Russian Federation” ( part 5 article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
Okunev did not come to the meeting, notes Kasparov . When imposing a fine, the court took into account as an aggravating circumstance the fact that this is already the eighth protocol against Okunev in general and the third - due to insulting the president - since February 24, 2022.
On March 16, the same court fined him 20,000 rubles for posts with the headings “LIE IS BREATHING,” “PUTINISM’S NUCLEAR ELECTORATE,” and “SPECIAL OPERATION IS GOING TO PLAN.” In November 2022, the court fined the politician 150 thousand rubles because of a post with a quote from musician Yuri Shevchuk: “Motherland is not the president’s ass.” In May of the same year, four protocols were drawn up against him due to publications on social networks. Then the Dzerzhinsky court published a press release that, according to one of the protocols, Okunev was fined 31,000 rubles. The website of the court states that it was also about a post criticizing Vladimir Putin.
