Putin signed additional laws on "foreign agents"

Vladimir Putin signed laws, according to which fines and unscheduled inspections are introduced for persons helping “foreign agents” bypass the law on their status. This is stated in a document published on the official portal of legal information.

New laws oblige people, organizations and public authorities that are not “foreign agents”, but interacting with them, “to comply with the restrictions stipulated by law and not to help overcome them”. The Ministry of Justice received the right to endure these persons and organizations with a warning about the inadmissibility of violation of the law.

If the authorities find out that an individual or legal entity helps the “inoagen” to circumvent new restrictions, then “unscheduled checks” from the Ministry of Justice will begin. Also, according to the innovation, the “Inoagent” is prohibited from receiving financial and any other material support from the state, including in the implementation of creative activity.
