Ex-coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny* in Barnaul received nine years in colony

Former coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny* in Barnaul Vadim Ostanin received nine years of a general regime colony. The court found the man guilty of participating in the extremist community and an organization encroaching on the rights of citizens. This was reported on July 24 by Navalny's associates.

The court appointed nine years of colony of general regime to the former coordinator of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny * in Barnaul Vadim Ostanin . He was accused of participating in the extremist community and organizations encroaching on the rights of citizens (Article 282.1 and 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The security forces detained Vadim Ostanin in December 2021. Three months later, the court arrested a man. Ostanin complained about the pressure from the security forces in the pre -trial detention center. In particular, they took him medicines and personal belongings.

Vadim Ostanin was engaged in anti -corruption activities in the Altai Territory. He led the headquarters of Navalny* first in Biysk, and then in Barnaul.

In June, Ostanin’s colleague from Ufa Liliya Chanyshev sentenced the court to 7.5 years in a colony. She was found guilty of calls for extremism, the creation of an organization that violates the rights of citizens, and participation in the extremist community.

In Ufa, Khanysheva made anti -corruption investigations, participated in election campaigns, went to peaceful protests, spoke about the problems of Bashkiria. She was engaged in politics, despite pressure and threats. The case against Liliya Chanysheva was the first in a series of affairs against supporters of Navalny.
