Boris Karlitsky-Russian sociologist, candidate of political sciences, director of the Institute of Globalization and Social Movements, editor-in-chief of the Levocialist publication "Rabor" and the author of the Utyube channel of the same name. Karelitsky is known for publications about the problems of the left movement in Russia. In 2014, he supported the creation of the so -called Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, but after the start of Russia's full -scale invasion of Ukraine, in February 2022, criticized the Russian authorities. In May 2022, the Ministry of Justice recognized Kagarlitsky and the Institute of Globalization and Social movements by "foreign agents" he founded.

In the telegram channel of Kagarlitsky, the post of October 8, 2022 was preserved, in which the sociologist calls the Crimean bridge "the main achievement of the Putin era and material evidence that in our country, even against the backdrop of total theft and inefficiency, you can still achieve practical results."

Karelitsky wrote that the contractors interested in restoring the crossing will soon suffer “money with money” and “the only question is not to make a mistake with the cabinet,” since “the location of these rooms and their inhabitants can change in the near future”.

- The statement that is incriminated to me dates back to October last year. That is, it took ten months to incriminate it, although all this was on the Internet. From which I conclude that the decision was still political. Why, by whom and how - I can’t say, ”he said.

According to Kagarlitsky, the detention was an absolute surprise for him.

- When you criticize the Russian authorities, you understand that you walk around the edge, but I did it safely for a year and a half from the beginning of my own. He very carefully observed all the restrictions related to the status of the foreign agent, neatly formulated all his statements. They were critical, but in the framework of the legislation, in my opinion.

After the detention of Kagarlitsky about his whereabouts, nothing was known for a day. On July 26, the Rabor publication reported that the sociologist was transferred to Syktyvkar - at the place of initiation of criminal case. Why did the FSB officers from Komi become interested in Karelitsky’s publications, lawyer Sergei Erokhov found it difficult to say.

- According to the law, since it is excited and is investigated in Syktyvkar, Boris Yulievich is transferred and located there. -In 2022, when a person broadcasts in Russia on a large platform and expresses any criticism, at such a moment you can already begin to fear. But no prerequisites for the fact that this should have happened right now, ”says Ksenia. - It seems to me that when a person is engaged in politics - whether it is an analytical policy or practical - he must remain in the country in any case in order to be in the topic. It seems to me that his position was just that, although perhaps Boris - when it came out - will say that I was wrong.

According to close sociologists, Kagarlitsky deliberately did not leave Russia.

“When we saw each other in Moscow some time ago, he, on the contrary, said that he did not want to leave, because he assumes that in this case some business could be started against him,” the familiar sociologist explains with whom the correspondent of the North Realiy spoke. - But it turned out that the case began without his departure.

In addition to Kargalitsky, searches in the framework of a criminal case were carried out by four acquaintances of a sociologist related to the editorial office of the publication "Rabor".

The FSB officers came to the comrade -in -arms of Kagarlitsky - a psychologist Alexander Archagov, who led Streams on the YouTube Channel "Ratkoor". Archagova’s lawyer Yulia Kuznetsova told the North. Reali that investigators seized money and equipment from her client, but after the interrogation they released in the status of a witness. According to Rabocore, searches also took place with the employees of the publication-editor of the telegram channel and VKontakte group Artyom and employee of the studio Valery (the publication does not disclose their last name). Investigators released them after detention and interrogation. Their status is unknown.

According to the "Auto-Zak Live", there is another suspect in the case-the ex-candidate for the governors of the Penza region Anna Okhkina, the constant author of "Rabocore". The north did not succeed in contacting her promptly.

The publication "Rabor" appeared in 2008 as a platform "for debate and review information about the development of social movements in Russia and the world." In 2014, materials (including the editor-in-chief Boris Kagarlitsky) were published on the Rabocore website, supporting the creation of the DPR and LPR. According to one of the permanent authors of the publication of the St. Petersburg historian and publicist Ruslan Kostyuk , at that time part of the Russian leftist believed that the projects of the self-proclaimed republics were “alternative-socialist”.

“But, apparently, this position has changed over time,” he says.

After February 24, many authors of Rabocore condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine (later these materials were removed due to the appearance of the law on discrediting the Russian Army. - SR) . After the detention of its editor -in -chief, the publication itself issued a statement that it would continue to work.
