In Kursk, the court fined a mother of three children for the second time for a picket that did not happen

In Kursk, a court fined Anastasia Korshunova, a local resident and mother of three, 30,000 rubles, finding her guilty of "discrediting" the army. This was announced by the chairman of the "Civil Alliance of Russia" Oleg Filatchev, who represented the interests of Korshunova in court.

According to him, the reason for drawing up the protocol was a single picket, which never took place. Korshunova planned to take part in a rally against the war and in support of political prisoners on June 4, the birthday of Alexei Navalny. However, she could not do this, as the security forces immediately detained her on the spot.

The latter, in turn, claimed that Korshunova managed to unfold the poster. To prove the innocence of their client, the lawyers demanded that CCTV footage be included in the case, but the court refused to do so.

Earlier, Korshunova had already been fined 10,000 rubles for the same failed rally under the article on violation of the rules for holding public events. Oleg Filatchev on this occasion said that Russian law prohibits punishing the same act twice, and promised to appeal the court's decision.
