The government approved changes to the Regulations on conscription for military service, reports Interfax . They provide for the introduction of electronic personal files of conscripts.
It follows from the document that it will now be possible to get on the military register and withdraw from it, as well as to make changes to information about yourself without a personal appearance at the military registration and enlistment office. To do this, you will need to send an appeal through the "Gosuslugi".
Among other things, the amended Regulations state that subpoenas will be placed in the personal accounts of Russians in a single electronic register. The document fixes three ways of serving subpoenas: in person, by registered mail and in electronic form.
On June 25, the State Duma approved a bill prohibiting conscripts from leaving Russia from the day the agenda was entered into the register. In addition, the deputies raised the draft age from 27 to 30 years.
