Russia shelled Sumy. There are dead

On the evening of July 29, the Russian army shelled the Ukrainian city of Sumy. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a rocket hit a four-story building of an educational institution, a fire started there. The blast knocked out windows in neighboring houses.

The city council said one person was killed in the attack and 17 others were injured. Three of the wounded are hospitalized in a state of moderate severity. Later there was information about two dead and 20 injured.

The Sumy regional military administration reported that on the night of July 30, Russia fired at 12 settlements in the region. A total of 83 explosions were recorded. The shelling was carried out from mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers.
