The police deny that those who attacked the girl in Kamensk-Uralsky fought in Ukraine

Police detained two men suspected of beating a girl because of her hair color in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk Region. this . reported The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Security forces established that those who attacked 18-year-old Victoria were men born in 1991 and 1993. They were previously convicted of property crimes, torture and drug trafficking. The detainees told the police that they attacked the girl because they did not like her appearance. They also said that at the time of the beating they were intoxicated.

Police deny the attackers were involved in the war in Ukraine. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for hooliganism as part of a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code). This article carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison.

18-year-old resident of Kamensk-Uralsky Victoria contacted the police on August 2. She filed a complaint about the beating. The girl’s mother told the media that two men beat her daughter because of her blue hair, and that they simultaneously shouted about their recent return from the war.
