“Zone of Solidarity”: on behalf of Kudryashov, convicted of preparing to arson the military registration and enlistment office in Tver, a letter was received from the pre-trial detention center, written in someone else’s handwriting

On behalf of Tver resident Ivan Kudryashov, convicted in the case of preparing to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office, a letter was received from the pre-trial detention center, which was written in someone else’s handwriting, the Solidarity Zone reports . In early August, lawyer Maxim Kharchenko found his client in the psychiatric ward of the regional hospital of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Torzhok.

The letter, whose handwriting differs from that of other messages, spoke of “problems in the head” due to 40 days of hunger strike. “In one solitary cell I turned off the water tap, and in another solitary cell I broke the sink,” the letter says. Also, on behalf of Kudryashov, the addressee was told about a “nervous breakdown.”

According to representatives of the Solidarity Zone, with the help of this letter, the management of the hospital where the prisoner is being held is “trying to mislead the public.”

“Ladies and gentlemen from the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Tver Region, you have been exposed, your tricks will not help you hide what is happening! But you can still correct the situation: stop injecting Ivan Kudryashov with psychotropics, untie him from the bed and help him quickly move away from your “treatment,” the human rights activists added.

On June 20, the 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced the Tver resident to six years in a maximum security colony - he was found guilty of preparing for a terrorist attack (Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, Kudryashov planned to set fire to the local military registration and enlistment office.
