The Ministry of Internal Affairs will check the policeman who ignored the tattoo of a Muscovite with the symbols of “Azov” and her earrings with the coat of arms of Ukraine

The Transport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central Federal District will check a policeman who saw a tattoo with prohibited symbols on a Muscovite and did not take “measures to suppress the offense,” according to the department’s Telegram channel.

“An investigation has been ordered into possible improper performance by a police officer of his duties,” the police said in a statement.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that a policeman checked the documents of a Moscow resident on the Savelovo - Kubinka-1 train and found out that the investigative authorities of the Tver region had previously opened a criminal case against her for repeated demonstrations of extremist symbols (Part 1 of Article 282.4 of the Criminal Code). After this, the police officer left.

Photos of a woman on a Moscow train on August 2 were published in the Pozdnyakov 3.0 telegram channel. The photographs show her tattoo with the symbol of “Azov” and the signature “Ilya,” and during the trip she also wore earrings and a pendant with the coat of arms of Ukraine.

Telegram channel, The Astra without citing sources , reported on August 1 that a criminal case was opened against a 56-year-old Muscovite, following the denunciation of passers-by, because of tattoos with Azov symbols, which she “demonstrated on her body” at the station in the city of Kimry, Tver Region. At the same time, the telegram channel did not specify when exactly the case was initiated.
