The Investigative Committee for the Trans-Baikal Territory opened a criminal case against a resident of the village of Nerchinsky Zavod, who, according to the official version, participated in the beating of a participant in the war in Ukraine. “According to the investigation, on the night of August 5, 2023, in the Nerchinsko-Zavodsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the accused, along with other accomplices, provoked a conflict with two 36-year-old men. Publicly expressing complaints about the participation of men in a special military operation, the attackers struck one of the victims multiple blows to various parts of the body, tore state and public awards from his clothes, and also damaged his car.
