Starting September 1, high school students will study on a new single textbook. The section was added to it from 2014 to the present days, including “Svo”.
Those who have seen this textbook claim that there are more or less as on the TV.
Well, how else! Medinsky!
From the very first quote, it is not difficult to find out that “the idea of the Fix of the West was the destabilization of the situation within Russia. First - along the perimeter of its borders. The ultimate goal is not particularly hidden: this is the dismemberment of Russia and control over its resources. "
The most tidbit is the most - of course, this is the “ultimate goal”, which is literally “not hidden”.
Ale! Authors! Martyrs of military-patriotic science! Who is not hiding? Is there any statement on this subject in nature? Anyone, let's say, a statement? Forgive, God forgive me, a document about this “ultimate goal”? Interesting! Suddenly, the truth is “dismemberment”! Is it enough? Suddenly, some adversaries as a headaches as a headache as a hunt to have several instead of one nuclear state at once! Fools in the world, especially in the notorious “West”, of course, are a lot, but not to the same degree!
According to informed people, "the textbook, which was written by the former Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and the rector of MGIMOM, Anatoly Torkunov repeats the theses of state propaganda."
Well, what other theses can repeat these outstanding scientists! Your own, or something, invent? But who will trust them with this business!
More than once or two I had to hear the words that were striking in my flagrant injustice that Mr. Medinsky is not, you see, not a historian.
Why? First, you need to come up with, approve and try to introduce into public consciousness a state idea of what historical science is and what its purpose is, and only then to argue who is a historian and who is not.
If a story about knowing, understanding and studying is one thing. If she is to be proud and boasted, then this is completely different, and here Medinsky will fit.
And is it fair to blame everything for one?
Is it right to tear him out of the context where he and all his “works and days”, including the ill-fated dissertation and bizarre statements about the fact that the myth is preferable to historical truth, because he is a “saint”, from a context in which he is quite appropriate and looks as approximately naturally as in the middle of the city landfill looks a rusty bank from under a tremor?
If Dugin is a philosopher, if Markov is a political scientist, if ... and so on, and so on, then why is Medinsky not a historian? Quite inappropriate purebred.
And every time it comes to the school course of history, you have to ask the question of what is still history.
What is this? A set of facts? Or "good to a fellow lesson"? Scientific and academic discipline? Well, in general, yes, discipline. Discipline of public memory. And, if you like, hygiene of memory.
That is, it should be so. But you never know what should be. We are forced to live here with what is, and somehow try to reflect on this occasion to the best of our capabilities. And this, by the way, is not as little as it might seem.
New textbook on universal history and history of Russia for 10th and 11th grades

This morning I read in one of the social networks a short, but, it seems to me, an important commentary on my good friend, one of the witty and conscientious people of our time, approximately my peer. He wrote:
“In December 1969, I came from the army. 70s, 80s, 90s I have the most remembered ...
And now Medinsky announced that he revised and rewrote the history of these twenty years of the USSR and ten years of Russia.
Over the years, I have never heard of any Medinsky and out of my ear, but you, you see, took it and completely overestimated 30 years of my life. ”
To which I answered him:
“This is all written and published for completely different generations. You and I are for them "shadows of forgotten ancestors."
Well, let's say shadows. But the shadows are speaking, reflexive, endowed with quite RAM and the ability to clearly testify and recall.
These "historians" will not succeed. They are not the first, they are not the last. "
“This work,” Medinsky reports not without pride, “was made at an incredible period. A hard cover, the spine is sewn, not glued. This will make it possible as in the Soviet years, when the textbook has served for five years. "
When I studied in high school, history textbooks were unlikely to be very smarter and more true than the newly-naked textbook under the direction of Mr. Medinsky.
But I, I remember, also really liked that the textbook was in a solid cover, and the spine was not glued, but sewn. And he, this storehouse of historical knowledge designed to form in us, young frosts, communist ideals, really served for about five years as a convenient tool to knock out traffic jams from a bottle of port, drunk at the time, as a teacher of history and part-time party organizer Nina Gavrilovna Zyukina, for the nickname Zyuka, told those who for some reason remained for those who remained for some reason In the class, about the things that are unusually important to all of us, namely, about what the 16th Congress of the CPSU (b) was different from the 15th.
Of course, we learned some of the same story. For example, everyone still can without hesitation, even if we wake us up at night, to ram the names of all members of the “Labor Labor” group, what a group, according to the same textbooks, became the first Marxist group of Russia, from which the whole social-democratic movement hatched from the egg, the crown of which became a batch of Bolsheviks at the head ... well, in general, it is clear.
And why did everyone remember this “liberation of labor” and all participants in this team? And all because there was once a nameless genius who invented the mnemonic abbreviation from the first letters of the names "Plekhanov, Ignatov, Zasulich, Deutsch, Axelrod." How to forget it!
It was a happy exception. And it had no attitude to the textbook in a solid cover, or to school lessons.
School lessons of history were inevitably dreary, but the textbook, I repeat, did perfectly with its main and, in general, the only purpose. And all because his root was not glued, but sewn.
