- At the beginning of the invasion, Russian society was in shock, then this state was replaced by depression, and what is now?

- In my opinion, about the middle of the summer of 2022, a very active process of adaptation of Russian society to war began to occur. And the mechanisms of this adaptation pass through the sphere of economic behavior. Because the system offers a very wide circle of different groups of the population a rather advantageous participation in the continuation of the war. What are you talking about?

In the Russian construction sector, 6 million people work. And the builder is actively developing, since since the summer of last year there is an active recovery in the occupied territories. In the country, the construction system also works very actively. Another 2 million people in uniform are now getting some kind of allowances.

And since the war itself is a colossal business, not only those who are fighting at the front are bonuses.

In Russia, 8 million officials. We take this figure, because a couple of years ago, when the question was to refuse the use of iPhones and switch to the Russian analogue of a mobile phone, the government said that about 8 million devices would be required to provide those who are in the civil service. If we add to this at least 3-4 million people working in large state corporations (Gazprom, Rostec, Rosatom, and so on), then in general all this not only provides loyalty, but even more than loyalty. The war creates an atmosphere of economic motivation.
