The manifesto of anti -rashism

We publish the appeal “Stop Rashism” (“Venetian Manifesto”), released in several languages ​​on the initiative of the artist and publicist Ekaterina Margolis and a group of like -minded people - supporters of the defeat and demilitarization of the Russian Federation, the eradication of her imperial ideology and terrorist practices, the decolonization of humanitarian knowledge about Russia. The manifesto is open for signing .

Stop Rashism: Real Future

1. We wish not just the end of the war, but the complete victory of Ukraine and the complete defeat of the Russian Federation, including the restoration of the sovereignty of Ukraine over its entire territory, the provision of international guarantees of its security, the international trial of Russian military criminals and the payment of reparations. Any world should be concluded on the terms of Ukraine and with the consent of the Ukrainian people. Only such a world can be strong and fair.

2. This is an absolutely necessary condition today, but not a sufficient condition for tomorrow. We want a present future, and not his Erzatsa: we believe that only the cessation of the existence of Russia (Russian Federation) as an empire and its demilitarization, in particular, the liberation of its territory from nuclear weapons and other means of mass destruction, can become a real step to a safe future and a guarantee of the prevention of such acts of aggression in the future.

3. We want analysis, deconstruction and eradication of rashism in all its forms. We understand Rashism as a special ideology and practice of the regime established in the Russian Federation in the XXI century - the regime of cynical, aggressive, and dangerous and dangerous for the planet.

4. We see the origins of Rashism in the deep historical Russian imperial, which has been preserved and even intensified in the expansionist policy of the USSR and the Russian Federation, becoming the supporting element of the official ideology and the basis of the unspoken intra -Russian consensus. Today's rashism is based on the traditional political practices of the Russian Empire / USSR, including the absolute control of special services inherited from communist totalitarianism behind all spheres of the life of Russian society, their systematic organization of sabotage and terrorist acts abroad.

5. We are convinced that with the similarity of some features, rashism differs from fascism. Fascism is immoral, rashism is embarrassed: it is not built on a system of values, but on fundamental nihilism. Fascism is based on inhuman ideological beliefs, while rashism is ideologically cynical: its officially declared ideological foundations are nothing more than formal declarations, in fact it feeds on the lack of any internal values ​​and civil passivity. Rashism parasitizes on various achievements of world civilization, including the most modern technologies. It has no historical precedents and requires the development of fundamentally new methods of combating it. Despite its aggressive archaic, rashism is a phenomenon of modernity.

6. We consider it necessary to actively resist Rashism today and bring its total dismantling in the future. We intend to work on the system of identifying and analyzing rashist narratives and their distribution through world media, rashist manipulation of cultural narratives, world intellectual and political resources, as well as decolonizing humanitarian knowledge about Russia.

7. Rashism carries death and suffering to the people of Ukraine, threatens the very existence of the Ukrainian nation and the state, pose a direct threat of territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries neighboring Russia. Rashism destabilizes the situation in the world, brings up internal conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, exacerbates the situation with migration, intervenes in the elections and tries to influence world policy, including corruption of politicians and political parties in Europe and North America and trying to destroy the European Union from the inside.

8. Rashism is dangerous for the Russians themselves. He systematically neglects human rights, represses disagreements, destroys civic activity and participation in political life, and deeply corrupt the population of Russia. Rashism has widely entered the consciousness of Russians with a variety of social status and political preferences, including those living outside the Russian Federation. It infects the Russian ideological and domestic chauvinism of many representatives of the so -called "title nation", normalizes the discrimination of ethnic minorities, homophobia and mizoginia, and makes Russians participants in the criminal war. We urge the Russians to admit their responsibility for this war and its consequences and make everything in their power to combat Rashism and the Russian imperial.

9. We see our task not only to influence political solutions related to the development of new international security architecture, but also in working at the level of everyday life, including through the use of existing and the development of new information technologies, journalistic, journalistic and social activities, as well as different forms of educational work to demonstrate the complete unacceptability of rashism in any manifestations: from culture to culture to ideology, from its justification to normalization, from patterns of behavior to speech cliches.

10. Who are we? We are a horizontal international community of resistance to rashism today, working on the impossibility of its repetition, revival and distribution in the future. We invite us to join our work of all who support Ukraine today and understands that guarantees of responsibility and non -degree of all numerous historical precedents of Russia's aggression and threats for the world should be created now.
