Kyiv Post: Ukraine wants to exclude Israel from the meetings "Ramstein"
Ukraine considers the possibility of excluding Israel from the Ramstein defense group. About this writes Kyiv Post. The contact group "Ramstein" includes representatives of 30 NATO countries and another 24 countries. All of them are dealing with military assistance to Kyiv.
Sources of Kyiv Post in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine told reporters that Israel did not provide military assistance to Ukraine.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, there is a possibility that the information that is discussed at meetings in the Ramstein format is used by Israel in its narrow interests, up to the transfer of data from Russia.
In addition, Kyiv considers the possibility of canceling a visa -free regime between the two countries, the publication notes.
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine said that he did not have information about this initiative.
The publication at Kyiv Post appeared against the backdrop of reports about the termination of free treatment in Israel of Ukrainian refugees. At the same time, Israel itself is trying to get security guarantees for thousands of Jewish pilgrims, which annually come to Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year. With constant shelling, it is impossible to give these guarantees, Kyiv Post sources say.
