In Belgorod, according to preliminary information, a drone crashed into an apartment building. The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov , said that no one was injured as a result of the explosion.

“According to preliminary information, at 17:43 on Yesenin Street, building 9, building 1, after an explosion, tiles of the ventilated facade fell at the level from the 7th to the 13th floor. The most important thing is that there are no casualties,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Gladkov, windows in several apartments were broken, air conditioners were damaged, and the façade of the building was also damaged. In addition, 15 cars were damaged.

“Operational and emergency services are on site. The reasons for the incident are being established. According to the preliminary version, the damage was caused by a UAV attack,” Gladkov explained.

This is the fourth drone to attack the Belgorod region in a day. Three drones, according to the Ministry of Defense, were shot down by air defense forces.
