The dictators are overwhelmed by fear. They know better than others how illegal their power is - they remember how they destroyed the opponents, falsified the election results, and emasculated the institutions. They know that no procedures or courts will protect them, that you can only hope for lies and strength. So, they look anxiously at loved ones, fearing betrayal, at the whole world: whether the one who finds the needle will appear and will overthrow the seeming so strong power.

The mythological king Herod was not a great humanist, but he exterminated the babies not by malice or, at least, not only by malice (in fairness, let's not forget that the real king Herod was actually famous not only with villains, but died even before the birth of Christ, therefore, he could not have a relationship to this particular crime). Herod - the hero of the myth - decided to kill all the babies because he received reliable, as it seemed to him, information about the threat of his power emanating from one of the newborns. Fear in human history, as in myths, often acts as a motive for crime.

Putin in the tragicomedy with a single history textbook acts in the same way as King Herod. Only he decided that it was not necessary to kill in this case: it is enough to amputate the brain to children.

Actually, how can a dictator protect himself from a threat? Three ways.

Firstly, repress all disagreements and potentially disagreements. And here, of course, it is better to overdo it than to not be unable. The girl in yellow-blue sneakers, maybe she didn’t mean anything like that, but it would be calmer and she would take her. Just for insurance. Well, who really disagree, then you want, you don’t want to, but you have to give "huge deadlines." We are not like that - life is like that.

Secondly, you have to lie. It is necessary to convince the subordinate population that if it were not for you, then it would be smooth, clever, NATO soldiers and coercion to everyone to live in homosexual marriages. And most importantly - so that people think that everyone hate us, they want to destroy (the option - “put on your knees”), and all this did not happen only thanks to your vigilant care for the country. And for this, you first hire all sorts of Simonyan, and then you yourself begin in what they say.

Thirdly, we must vigilantly look forward, revealing a protest where it has not yet begun, but after some time it can begin. And here the experience of King Herod is invaluable.

With the new history textbook, it is interesting not that Medinsky companions wrote it - they were ready for a long time, only whistles. By the way, there is a certain irony in the fact that the textbook on history for all schools in Russia was written by a person who, in the opinion of the scientific community, who stole his dissertation precisely in history and replaced the story for many years. Medinsky and others are ideal for this work: after all, history does not exist for them, the past is what is needed for today. Orwell, probably, did not think that everything he wrote about could come true so literally.

But I wonder why right now they received an order (as well as financing)?

The chief boss and his environment, apparently, feel that neither repression nor the total lies of the desired level of control can be achieved. The protest flashes here and there, no matter how much you plant; The deepest people of Americans and various other Ukrainians, of course, do not love, but also treats their native government without delight. And the idea arose finally by children: to educate a generation that will not know anything about the world around us, except what the state is needed for faithful service in the person of its current personifiers.

The first step is precisely a single textbook. It is necessary to destroy the diversity, which in itself gives rise to doubts and questions. “I tell them, they say, so, and so, they say, but what is wrong-it means a lie!”, According to Julia Kim’s song about the “teacher of social studies”.

And in the textbook itself - not only nonsense. There is something that is beneficial to today's (pathological) state. The USSR, for example, collapsed for no objective reasons, but only by the stupidity and maliciousness of Gorbachev. This means that its restoration - albeit in a slightly different form - is reasonable, correct and possible. Believe me in the first - believe in the second.

The West has always attacked us, hatred of us is immanently inherent in European countries. So, he does this now - we are forced to defend ourselves. And in Ukraine the Nazis, therefore, today's “special military operation” is a direct continuation of that great war with Nazism. And, as then, we fight “not only for our country”, but for the whole world, which they want to conquer and destroy now not German, but Ukrainian fascists and, most importantly, the Americans standing behind them. We even fight for Africa freedom, as has recently been said. At the heart of this paranoid delirium are exactly those ideas about the world that introduces a new textbook.

This is not a battle for the past, as many say. Neither for the authors of the textbook, nor for their customers, no past exists. It only seems that there was something before. There was nothing but we will tell about this: there was no communism that collapsed under the weight of his own inadequacy, but there was a CIA conspiracy, there were no terror, but there were forced measures to protect the Soviet regime and separate excesses in the field. There was no “voting on the stumps”, but there was a popular will and letters of the working people Valentina Tereshkova. Well, and so on.

This is a battle for today and tomorrow. This is the battle for today to be perceived by non -alternative and justify the threat of the death of the country so that the victims seem meaningful, and the questions about why this is all, and about the difficult life of the majority, and about the luxury of the authorities - did not arise. We are waging a sacred war, and here you are with trifles - be ashamed!

For the sake of this, children are trying to wean to think and turn them into wooden soldiers of Urfin Jus.

It is interesting that in this struggle for the correct image of the world, the authorities destroy the foundation on which all over the past years they built the self -awareness of the people - victory.

After all, if in Ukraine and everywhere there are Nazis, then, then we did not finish them then, in the forty -fifth. So what does Putin congratulate the people on May 9 - with another illusion?

But finally - about good. Their idea, of course, is disgusting. But nothing will come of it. The whole experience of our history - not invented by Medinsky, but the real one - suggests that when the state begins to “educate” with huge costs, it turns out exactly the opposite. Lectures on the history of the CPSU did not affect the listeners, and often contributed to the growth of dissident moods for all students of the USSR. The whole pioneer ringing only led to the fact that the children were embarrassed to wear a red tie and put it in their pocket, because they could not put it in another place. And the pre -revolutionary lessons of the Law of God contributed only to the growth of atheistic and anti -church sentiments. The authorities-with their talents-and here they will achieve results opposite to those that they sought.

Actually, King Herod also did not work out.
