“Putin is a scoundrel and a thief.” In Surgut, a ticker dedicated to the dollar exchange rate appeared on the building of a local news agency

A video of a ticker on the building of the Surgut SIA-PRESS, the text of which is dedicated to the dollar exchange rate, has spread on social networks. “Putin is a dick and a thief, 100 rubles for a dollar, you’re crazy,” the inscription read.

The founder of the editorial office, Taras Samborsky, has already called the incident a provocation. He said the “provocative messages” were quickly deleted. Samborsky also said that the ticker on the facade of the building, which is controlled remotely, was hacked and called the incident “unpleasant and outrageous.”

“The fact that this is a provocation prepared by someone is evidenced not only by the video recording of the message by an outside observer, but also by the time of the hack: today, August 13, a summer festival is taking place in the center of Surgut, and the attackers’ calculation becomes clear - to post a scandalous message at the moment when citizens will go home after the public event,” Samborsky wrote in the agency’s VKontakte group.

According to him, the editors received a video with a hacked ticker from one of the subscribers and have already handed it over to the police.
