The administration of the Mikhailovsky District of the Primorsky Territory published the amount of compensation for damaged property due to flooding. Local residents were outraged by the size of these payments.

Thus, for crops lost due to floods, the authorities are ready to provide a one-time payment of two thousand rubles. This is how much it costs, for example, 50 kilograms of potatoes. For the loss of all property, local authorities offer 25 thousand rubles. Such compensation will be received by people in whose houses the water level rose above 15 centimeters. If the water has not reached this level, then flood victims can count on 15 thousand rubles.

In the comments under the post in the Mikhailovsky district administration group on Telegram, people write that they are unlikely to be able to buy anything with this money. In Ussuriysk, which also suffered from flooding due to a dam break, local residents met with the mayor of the city, Evgeny Korzh, and the head of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako. Local politician and human rights activist Maxim Chikhunov published a video of this meeting. In the footage, people who lost property are also outraged by the amount of compensation offered.

Two floors of the house of one of the participants in this meeting were flooded. Korzh said that he was entitled to compensation of at least 150 thousand rubles.
