Czech Republic imposes sanctions on family of Russian cruise missile corporation's head

The Czech Republic has imposed sanctions on the family of Boris Obnosov, the head of Russia's largest defense holding company , Tactical Missile Weapons . This was reported by Alexei Navalny's team, which had previously found Obnosov's family property in the Czech Republic.

Obnosov himself, his daughter Olga Zorikova and son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov were subject to sanctions ( .pdf ).

“To achieve this, we met and corresponded with Czech officials, wrote a ton of letters to all possible authorities, activists took to the streets of Prague, and Zorikoff even beat up one of them,” Navalny’s team said in a statement.

• In May 2023, Navalny's team published an investigation claiming that Boris Obnosov's family owned luxury real estate in the Czech Republic worth more than eight million euros. FBK board chair Maria Pevchikh then promised that the foundation would demand sanctions against Boris Obnosov and the Zorikovs to ban them from entering the Czech Republic.
