The director of the Perm school, which in the spring refused to hold “Conversations about Important Things” with a participant in the war in Ukraine, has left her post

The director of Perm school No. 12, Elena Rakintseva, who refused to hold “Conversations about Important Things” with participants in the war in Ukraine, left her post. This was reported by Properm .

As the Perm Department of Education clarified to the Properm journalist , the teacher resigned of her own free will. Her contract was not due to end until March 2026. Rakintseva’s former deputy, Alla Zlobina, became the temporary acting director of the school.

At Perm school No. 12, lessons are conducted in two languages - Russian and German. Its graduates, after passing the exams, have the opportunity to enter colleges and universities in Germany.

In May, came officials and representatives of the local military telegram channel “Prikamsky Knights” to the educational institution. They were outraged that the school leadership refused to hold “Conversations about Important Things” with a participant in the war in Ukraine. One of the students, on condition of anonymity, told Mediazona that these lessons are conducted in the format of regular classroom hours - with “communication, team building, and simply interesting tasks.”
