From September 1, Raiffeisenbank will begin charging its clients a 50% commission for incoming transfers in dollars. A corresponding message appeared on the credit institution's website.
It states that the minimum commission amount will be one thousand dollars, but not more than the amount received, and the maximum will be 10 thousand dollars.
“The bank is forced to limit the number of incoming transfers in US dollars due to changing market conditions. We encourage customers to use other payment methods. The new conditions apply to all incoming transfers credited to the accounts of clients - individuals, small and micro businesses (legal entities and individual entrepreneurs),” the bank’s press release says.
On the same day, Citibank announced that from August 22 it would suspend the purchase of cash dollars and euros at its cash desks.
