The body of the fourth digger from the group that explored underground sewers was found under the soaring bridge of Zaryadye Park in the Moscow River, telegram channels Mash and Shot , as well as TV channel 360, reported .
On August 20, a group of diggers went on an excursion to the underground sewers of Moscow. At that moment, it began to rain heavily in the capital, and the excursion participants were unable to get out.
Earlier it became known that the bodies of three diggers had been discovered. It was initially reported that five people took part in the excursion. However, later RIA Novosti reported that eight people went underground that day.
Based on the death of the diggers, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence,” which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to ten years.
