On the night of August 23, Moscow and the Moscow Region were again attacked by drones. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that one drone hit the building under construction in Moscow City. “The UAV was suppressed by means of electronic warfare and, having lost control, clash with the building under construction,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said. In two neighboring five -story buildings, several windows knocked out , there were no injured.
Two more drones, as the department said, the air defense system shot down in the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow Region, as well as in the Khimki area. In Starbeevo in Khimki, a store and a house were damaged, it follows from the messages of telegram channels.
The day before, the air defense shot down two shock drones in the suburbs - one in the area of the Pavshinsky floodplain of Krasnogorsk, the other in the region of the region in the Odintsovo city district. The Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov said that the windows in a high -rise building were knocked out by the explosive wave during the fall of the downed drone.
The Ministry of Defense in each of its reports writes about "suppressing the next attempt of the Kyiv regime to make a terrorist attack." The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, today reacted to the next attack of Moscow: “Similar criminal actions of the neo -Nazi Kiev regime, which turned the efforts of NATO countries into a tool of confrontation of Russia, will become the subject of the most close attention from the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.” Zakharova also added that Moscow does not intend to “ignore the role in these crimes of the special services of Western countries, which provide Ukrainian neo -Nazis with disinfecting, which helps to build the routes of such drones.”
The news about the attacks of drones on Moscow has almost moved to the category of ordinary - with the regularity with which they occur. The New Gazeta Europe has been shown by the Acting Napilot attacks on the capital and the Moscow region, which have been officially reported since May of this year.
Tonight, as with past attacks, all Moscow airports temporarily suspended work. After attacks in the Odintsovo and Istra districts of the Moscow Region on August 21, for example, flights were temporarily limited to Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky near Moscow. In this regard, 45 passenger flights and two cargo flights were redirected to the spare airports of Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and St. Petersburg.
The Russian Civil Aviation pilot, the first -class pilot Andrei Litvinov explains that as soon as an unidentified flying object appears in the airfield area, the “carpet” is given, in which all aircraft must land on nearby airfields. “Previously, we did not have such an experience of attacking drones, so they react in fact,” he says.
At the same time, such temporary stops of the airports can result in large losses for airlines. Additional expenses will be required to care for the reserve airfield, because this is the consumption of excess kerosene, the payment of additional working hours of the crew, compensation for passengers for inconvenience and, in the end, return the aircraft back to the base.
Litvinov explains that the drone can only be tracked by the locator. But even in this case there is no tracking system specifically drones, so the appearance of the mark on the locator depends on the size of the drone. If it is large, they will notice, if small - no. “Drones are different. There are metal ones, they are still making some kind of plastic now. Plastic is not visible. There are small domestic drones, there are more, and there are also drones that fly like small planes, ”the pilot notes.
