Ukrainians and coat of arms

The Ilk Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation publishes the results of its survey:

“69% of Ukrainians say that it was possible to replace the coat of arms of the USSR with a trident on the shield of the Motherland monument in Kyiv later, in particular, after the end of hostilities.

21% do not think so.

However, 67% reacted positively to the decision to replace the USSR coat of arms with a trident.

16% are negative, the rest are undecided about their attitude or don’t care.”
