The landing module of the Indian station "Chandrayan-3" successfully sat on the moon

The landing module "Vikram", which was delivered to the orbit of the Moon by the Indian interplanetary station "Chandrayan-3" made a successful landing on the Earth's satellite. On board is the pragian lunar rover. The direct broadcast of the planting of the apparatus was carried out on the YouTube channel of the Indian space of space research.

India became the fourth country of its apparatus on the satellite of the Earth after the USSR, the USA and China. "We carried out a soft landing on the moon, India on the moon," said the head of the organization of Sri Somanat.

The station started on July 14 from the Sricharikot cosmodrome on the Middle Class missile LVM3. The flight to the moon lasted almost three weeks. The landing module "Vikram" and the Lunum Road "Pragian" should work on the Earth’s satellite one lunar day - 14.5 earthly days. They will study seismic activity, soil and exosphere.

The previous lunar mission of India ended in failure. Then the landing module "Vikram", which was delivered to the orbit of the Moon "Chandrayan-2", crashed.

• Earlier, the Russian interplanetary station "Luna-25" crashed on the moon. The head of the Roscosmos Corporation Yuri Borisov said that the accident occurred due to the emergency operation of the engine.
• The Luna-25 automatic interplanetary station was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region on August 11. This was the first in the modern history of Russia to launch a mission to the moon. The station was supposed to conduct long -term research on the lunar surface.
