According to him, the relevance of this problem is visible in the example of Ukraine. “We see from the example of our brotherly country Ukraine how easy it is to put other things into children’s heads. How Bandera and Shukhevych become heroes - people who killed so many civilians that we can talk about genocide of the entire Soviet people,” Belsky said.

During the event, teachers were also shown a video “Where the Motherland Begins.” In the footage, children try to answer questions using artificial intelligence, but fail - the AI ​​gives incorrect answers. After this, teachers come to the aid of the children, who give the correct answers, and then invite the students to write a letter to the soldiers fighting in Ukraine.

Among others, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov addressed the participants of the teachers' council. In his speech, he said that teachers from Mariupol did not abandon their children during shelling, and even shared bread and water with them. Beglov compared this with the situation in St. Petersburg during the covid pandemic. Then, according to him, the teachers “stayed with the students” during the distance learning period, “even though they themselves were sick.” Beglov added that children from Mariupol who were under shelling received psychological trauma, and now, while relaxing in a children's camp in St. Petersburg, they take bread from lunch with them. In this regard, Beglov noted, the teachers, on the recommendation of psychologists, laid out bread and water throughout the camp.
