The doctor’s famous doctor was accused of giving up patients for years. Some of them did not talk about what had happened, fearing persecution

Several women accused the honored doctor of Russia and the former deputy of the Karelia Legislative Assembly from the United Russia party Arkady Rutgayzer in harassment and sexualized violence during medical techniques. This became known after the post of Karelian activist Natalia Ermolina, who published on Facebook the story of her friend, who survived the sexualized violence by the doctor with a “loud surname”. In total, according to Ermolina, violence survived about 50 women. About 10 of them announced their readiness to apply to law enforcement agencies. The editions of “7 × 7” andthe “line” talked with the patients who told about what happened to them at the appointment of the Karelian doctor. Two of them told reporters that it was Rutgayzer who had molested them.

The journalist and activist from Petrozavodsk Natalya Ermolina published the story of her friend, several years ago, who had been sexualized by the doctor on the part of the doctor, on Facebook on August 20. She did not disclose the names of her friend and doctor, noting that he was "the medical luminaries of the Karelian sky."

“I came to this golden man, undressed, lay on the couch, and he closed the door from the inside with a key, put the key in his pocket and, going up to my naked and defenseless friend, unbuttoned his fly and took out a member. A friend explained that she could not resist, and then publicize this story, because she "was ashamed, afraid to say the word." “He is a legend, and I am nobody. Who would believe an ordinary patient? " - says in the post by Ermolina. According to her, in the end, a friend visited all the sessions of this doctor, because "he cured what others could not correct." “And everything was repeated again. On August 21, the journalist said that after the first post she received several dozen messages with stories about the harassment of the Karelian doctor. “I just rolled up to someone, pawed someone, put my fingers in my mouth-“ this is shock therapy, you are too clamped, believe me, it will work, ”he put his fingers into his underpants, but was stopped. And with several he committed an act of oral violence, ”said Yermolina. The comments under the posts suggested that we are talking about a neurologist, Honored Doctor of Russia and Karelia Arcadia Rutgayzer.

Rutgizer - candidate of medical sciences, honorary citizen of Petrozavodsk and Honored Doctor of Russia. He also works as the main freelance specialist in medical rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of Karelia. Until 2007, Rutgizer was a neurologist and factory of recovery treatment in the clinic No. 2 in Petrozavodsk, which he then headed until 2020. In total, he worked in this clinic for about 40 years. After the neurologist was 65 years old, he left the post of chief physician and moved to work in his own medical center Eskulap.

In 2015, Rutgizer received the mandate of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia, taking the place of Ivan Romanov, accused of committing violent acts of a sexual nature against two young men 16 and 17 years old. The doctor entered the United Russia faction and served as a deputy until 2021.

The stories of five more women who survived the harassment and sexualized violence from the same doctor published “7 × 7” andthe “line” . Two of them confirmed that Rutgayzer molested them. Some women performed under their names, but journalists do not reveal their surnames.

Nadezhda (talked with reporters under her name) said that she had come to an appointment with the Karelian doctor in 2014 due to pain in her head and constant teak of her eyes. On the recommendation, she signed up for him for acupuncture in one of the private clinics, where the doctor took patients. At the session, the doctor, when Nadezhda spoke about complaints, said: "You need good lover, dear." Then he told her to undress to the waist, lie on her back, close her eyes, and put her needles in the ear area. After that, he began to touch her first behind his head, and then - by the neck and chest.

“I strained, he began to calm down, then he began to drive his fingers on his lips, and I cursed at him,” said Nadezhda. As a result, the doctor interrupted the reception, and the patient ran out of the clinic without paying. She did not tell anyone about what happened, deciding that "she was to blame for herself." “True, I did not understand what exactly,” notes 7 × 7.

Another patient, Olga (the name changed), went to a neurologist several times between 2012 and 2014. After the sessions, it became easier for her, but the pain returned, and she was signed up for a second trick. Each time, the doctor asked Olga to undress to underwear. Usually the procedure took place in the presence of a nurse, but at the last appointment it was not in the office.

“Suddenly, he put his hand in my underpants and with his fingers began to touch my genital organ. It terribly embarrassed me, shocked. I did not expect this in any way, grabbed his hand and tried to take her away. Of course, instantly asked him not to do this. However, he continued to hold my hand in this place and told me that I myself want it and that I absolutely need it, I just did not understand this, ”Olga said.

The woman broke out, dressed and ran out into the corridor. She did not go to the tricks anymore. According to “7 × 7”, she still blames herself that “helplessly reacted”: “I just asked to stop it. It was as if it was paralyzed. I never had ideas to contact the police. I immediately realized that I would never prove anything to anyone. This is so respected, such a good doctor! "

Tatyana (talked with reporters under her name) said that she had treated a doctor with complaints about her lower back and leg pain, presumably in 1987. “When the patient complains of pain in the leg, why touch her breasts, ask to reach the floor with his hands and at the same time cling to close up? There were many such movements. He positioned himself as a manual. And how does a simple layman know which actions of the doctor are correct and which are not? But purely intuitively, any woman understands with such actions that it should not have been so. I almost died of shame, still disgusting, after so many years, ”she said.

After taking, the neurologist said that ten such sessions are needed to stop pain. According to Tatyana, she felt “spatered” and did not then continue treatment, but in 2022 she again came to the same doctor. This time the reception was calm, she said.

One of the most ancient cases of sexualized violence from the Karelian doctor occurred almost 40 years ago. From 1983 to 1985, Irina (spoke with reporters under her name) came to the acupuncture session at the clinic No. 2.

“The reception was with closed doors. The nurse left, needles were installed all over the body, and now I am lying motionless. And the doctor approaches, something cooled, opens a fly, takes out a member and puts on my lips. I darkened, I remember that he did not finish, ”she said“ 7 × 7 ”.

According to the woman, she could not move and resist due to needles stuck into pain points. After the session, the doctor behaved, as before him: he did not ask to be silent and did not threaten, shetold the “line”.

Irina spoke about what happened only to her friends and did not contact the police. The acupuncture helped Irina get rid of pain. A few years later, she again came to an appointment with this specialist. This time there was no violence. Irina confirmed the “features” to the journalists that the Rutgizer was that doctor.

The second woman, who directly accused the Karelian doctor of sexualized violence, is 45-year-old Olga (the name changed). Rutgizer called her to the reception in 2018, promising to cure back pain.

“At one of the tricks, he suddenly began to kiss me. I was already heading for the exit, and he got up, acquired me, began to tell me jokes-prisoners. He, you know, is such a doctor-worship. And he suddenly kissed the lips. Then he began to climb into different places with his hands. I thought: “An interesting movie, what happened to the man?” Let's beat him off. And he was so surprised at this, ”said Olga.

At the next session, Rutgizer closed the office, asked the patient to undress to the waist and lie on the stomach. After that, according to Olga, the doctor pulled out a member and began to poke him in his mouth with the words: “Are you pleased that my cock is on your lips?”

The woman decided that if she tells about what happened, she would fall into a vulnerable position. “In any normal country, he would be immediately held accountable, but not with us. In the center "Aesculapius", which is led by Rutgizer, said that they had not complained about him before. The administrator of the center for the first time heard from journalists about charges of harassment and violence. “Patients go happy, dream of getting to his reception and wait for records for two months,” she said. Natalya Ermolina said that after a series of posts there were several accusations against a woman who survived violence, whose story she told. The claims were due to the fact that after sexualized violence she continued to go to the sessions to the doctor.
