In demo versions of exams for nine-graders, you need to solve the problem of "state z"

The Federal Institute for Pedagogical Dimension published a demo version of materials for an interview of students in the ninth grades in the Russian language and social studies. They have tasks about the "participant in the special operation" and "state Z". Attention to this was drawn to the "mediazon".

In the task for the final interview in the Russian language, students are invited to read the text about paramedics to Ekaterina Ivanova, who went to war in Ukraine and takes the wounded from the field, and also "committed a heroic act". Then the students must retell this text in writing and include in the story a quote from the school friend of Ekaterina Ivanova. Here she is: "Katyusha has always been and remains an excellent student ... She has the character of a combat girl."

Other tasks in the interview are not related to the war in Ukraine.

In the demo version of the exam in social studies, the tasks tell about the "state z", in which the rights and freedoms of citizens are the highest value. In this task, it is proposed to answer the question, what political regime is established in such a country - dictatorial, authoritarian, democratic or totalitarian.

Also in the exam there is a question of what relates to traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. There are two answer options for it:

• Serving the Fatherland and responsibility for his fate
• mutual assistance and mutual respect, historical memory and continuity of generations, the unity of the peoples of Russia.

• Against the backdrop of the war with Ukraine, state propaganda among children has intensified in Russia. In schools, the school week begins with the execution of the anthem and the raising of the flag, the mandatory classroom hours "Talk about the important" have been introduced, within the framework of which children are told about a special military operation - this is how Moscow officially calls military operations against Ukraine.
• Also, a new textbook on domestic history for the 11th grade appeared in Russia, which will go to schools by September 2024. The publication of RBC published photos of several pages of the textbook, in particular, devoted to the Russian war against Ukraine. Already on them we can conclude that a textbook for high school students in maintenance and rhetoric is identical to state propaganda.
