Montenegro did not give out a colonel-derter from the FSB

Montenegro officially refused Russia to extradite the former FSB colonel Dmitry Senin. This became known on August 29 during the court session in the 235th garrison military court, where a criminal case is being considered in absentia against a former employee of the Inspection Department of the FSB personnel service, who threatens up to 7 years in colony under Art. 338 Criminal Code (desertion).

Senin disappeared back in February 2017, fearing the arrest in the framework of the investigation of the criminal case against his friend, relative and fellow countryman from Rostov-on-Don Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko. The very one who was charged with several cubic meters of money found in the apartments associated with it (about 8 billion in ruble equivalent).

Senin left Moscow on February 22, 2017. By car. One. Driving. On February 23, with a passport in the name of Timur Kudasov, he crossed the Russian-Georgian border at the border crossing of the Upper Lars.

It is interesting that after the disappearance of Senin in the FSB, they did not know for three more years, or pretended that they did not know that their colleague left Russia. There was even a version that Senin was no longer alive.

Or that the colonel-dertir is hidden somewhere in the Russian outback. Indeed, certificates came from the border services that Dmitry Anatolyevich Senin was recorded either at airports or at ground border crossings. Neither in 2017, nor in 2018, nor in 2019. And only in December 2020, the FSB operatives established that Senin had a passport for someone else's name.

Having stretched for another six months, on June 28, 2021, Dmitry Senin was put on the international wanted list. On September 4, 2022, he was detained in Montenegro. The Prosecutor General’s Office made a request for extradition to the defendant of the criminal case of desertion. But Montenegro refused to the issuance, since the former FSB colonel was provided with political asylum due to the fact that in Russia the ex-commissioned officers of the FSB are pursuing for political reasons: he supposedly discovered Ukrainian roots and he condemns the Russian special operation in Ukraine.

Consideration of the criminal case against Dmitry Senin will continue in absentia. At the next meetings, it is planned to interrogate the former colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko.
