The court decided to block the Center T website

The Ostankino District Court of Moscow decided to block the website of the Center T initiative group, which helps trans people in Russia, RusNews correspondents report from the courtroom. The prosecutor's office previously filed such a claim.

The judge ignored the defense’s arguments that during the new inspection of the site for “prohibited information,” no proper examination was carried out. The blocking of the initiative group's page was recognized as legal.

“I still want to expect that justice will be justice. The feeling from the processes is that these are political decisions that have nothing to do with people or security at all,” said the head of Center T, Ian Dvorkin, in a commentary to journalist_kam.

During the processes to block the site, its participants were attacked twice by unknown persons, on July 24 and 28. During the latest attack, a child walking past the court with his mother was also injured. This time, the participants in the process also received threats, but they managed to leave the court premises without incident. The patrol car provided for security did not wait until the end of the meeting and left early.
