Pulkovo accepted several flights to Moscow

Pulkovo Airport as a reserve accepted seven flights to Moscow, Fontanka reports with reference to the press service.

Details. By 9 in the morning, Pulkovo received flights from Istanbul and Perm, a little later also from Krasnoyarsk, Dubai, Tashkent and Sharm El Sheikh, which were supposed to land at Moscow airports.

What's happened. In the morning, it became known about the destruction of a drone over the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region. Because of this, Vnukovo and other Moscow airports announced the restriction of flights. At the moment, Vnukovo and Domodedovo are working normally.

In total, 45 Moscow flights went to the spare airports, 150 flights were detained or canceled, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Federal Air Transport Agency.

Context. On the night of August 30, the seven regions of Russia fell under the attacks of Ukrainian drones, the Ministry of Defense said. According to the agency, the UAV was shot down in the Bryansk , Oryol , Ryazan , Kaluga and Moscow regions.
