Mathematics Azat Miftakhov was detained at the exit from the colony

The graduate student of the Mechanical and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University Azat Miftakhov was detained at the exit from IK-17 in Omutninsk in the Kirov region. This was reported by the DOXA publication with reference to the people who met mathematics.

Why the security forces detained mathematics. At the end of August, it became known that Miftakhov was again accused of calls for terrorism (part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In a conversation with the Mediazona, lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina said that a new case against mathematician was brought up because of his comments when viewing a television program with other prisoners-allegedly he “approved” the explosion in the Arkhangelsk UFSB in 2018.

Presumably, the accusation may be associated with a new case about the allegedly existing terrorist anarchist organization "Network". A graduate student can face before 5 years in prison. Previously, mathematics were included in the list of “terrorists and extremists”.

Mathematics was connected with the Moscow anarchist organization "People's Self -Defense". According to one version, the security forces planned to present it as which the Moscow “Network” cell. ”
