The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov , reported that a man was killed during the repeated shelling of the village of Kozinka, Grayvoronsky urban district.
“Leonid Aleksandrovich died from his wounds on the spot even before the ambulance team arrived. Another person was injured - a woman received a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds to her thighs,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Gladkov, the injured woman was taken to the central regional hospital, where doctors are providing her with all the necessary medical care.
Around noon on September 5, Gladkov already reported about the shelling of the village of Kozinka. Then, according to him, no one was hurt. “As a result of the arrival of 8 artillery mines, there was serious damage to 11 private residential households and 1 passenger car,” Gladkov wrote.
Later, he also said that “the outskirts of the village of Vyazovoe, Krasnoyaruzhsky district, came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” He noted that shell fragments damaged a power line.
