He also said that “in principle” he admits guilt.
After the judge opened the meeting, the lawyer of the detainee Nikolai Fomin asked to call his client an ambulance. “He is in such a state that he cannot adequately perceive,” the defender said. According to the lawyer, Mishchenko recorded fractures of three ribs. The judge agreed to call an ambulance and announced a break.
At this meeting, Mishchenko should choose a preventive measure. According to the lawyer, the volunteer was detained on September 11. According to the card on the court’s website, a criminal case was opened against Mishchenko about participation in a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).
As the Mediazone notes, a person cannot be detained for more than 48 hours under the Criminal Procedure Code. Mishchenko will expire this period today at 22:00.
