Best of all, in addition to the workers of the plant, explosions were heard by students of the Sevastopol branch of Moscow State University, whose training corps and hostel are less than a kilometer from the Sevmorzavod. There are no wounded among students. According to students, the training building was injured, where the windows were partially knocked out by the blast wave. The audience, where there is damage, are closed. However, the leadership of the university did not cancel the classes - they were simply transferred to other rooms, the windows of which do not go to the Severomorzavod, and to the neighboring laboratory corps. Some teachers gave students assignments and released from steam.
Mikhail, a student of a branch of Moscow State University, told Novy-Europe, which happened during the explosions with him and other students living in the hostel:
“I had the feeling that I was in hell. Because the first thing I saw was the sky filled with red. My neighbor did not sleep at that moment and was preparing for the exam.
He jumped out of bed, asked me about something to check if I were conscious. We ran to hide in the bathroom. He almost dragged me by the hand, because I didn’t realize anything at all. ”
Michael says that there were no news at that moment. Then, living in the hostel, it was said to go down to the shelter. Everything behaved differently there. Someone, according to Mikhail, was in shock, others tried to joke to be distracted. Most of all, in this situation, students are annoyed by the indifference of the leadership, which, although it caught, is not so close, and therefore continues to intensively pretend that everything is in order. Students are afraid to write to the rector of Moscow State University in Moscow with a request to influence local leaders. Some, after the experienced, decided just in case to collect “alarming suitcases” and glue the windows, and someone completely left.
In other parts of the city, the night was also sleepless. Konstantin lives about 15 kilometers from the explosion. He, like students, woke up at night from loud sounds. “The first thought is where? He says. - I thought about the Cossack area, but apparently I was mistaken in an echo. It was p *** T loudly, as if the sky had split. Anxiety for friends and parents. But he didn’t call right away: all my houses, no one works at military facilities, and the APU is hit very carefully, only for military purposes. He looked at the telegram channels, there was no info. He chopped off and in the morning read what happened. ” Konstantin does not support the war and argues as follows: “Of course, this is my city, I am scared for loved ones, I do not want the city of destruction, but, unfortunately, my city a year ago I launched rockets around Ukraine every night. These missiles brought death and pain to innocent people every day. And these missiles are returning. ”
Margarita, an employee of the social service, says: “I woke up, like everyone else, at 02:57, when noise and flash began; I went to look out the window, I saw how the air defense works. Specifically, from where, I will not say, but clearly closer than from the center. I saw a few idle blows, they are like a luminous dashed line, and one explosion in the air was a rather large fire ball, apparently, something was shot down near me. The noise was strong, the whole area woke up, the explosions heard everywhere, from the stations to the plugs, at work everyone said that from three o’clock they did not sleep due to explosions and massive warriors. On the way to work, it smelled of Garya, I never saw a fire, but the smell is vile, for there is plastic, rubber, and everything else burns there. ”
