Three billionaires from the Forbes list, as well as Moskvich and AvtoVAZ, were subject to US sanctions.

The United States has expanded its sanctions list against Russia. In particular, three participants in the list of Russian billionaires according to Forbes were included in it. This was reported on the website of the American Ministry of Finance.

The list included the founder of the Russian Copper Company Igor Altushkin ( ranked 36th in the list of the richest Russians according to Forbes ), chairman of the board of directors of Transmashholding JSC Andrey Bokarev ( 47th place in the Forbes ranking ), founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company company Iskander Makhmudov (21st line Forbes ) and his son Jahangir Makhmudov.

Sanctions were also imposed against the chief designer of the Soyuz plant, Mkrtich Okroyan, and Ekaterina Krivoruchko, the wife of Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.

In addition, the list includes car manufacturers Moskvich and AvtoVAZ, Gavrilov-Yamsky Machine-Building Plant AGAT, Kirov Plant, Russian Highways and the Bakhirev Research Machine-Building Institute.

Sanctions were also imposed against several enterprises. In particular, these are the United Metallurgical Company, Vokrutaugol, Amur Mining Company and others.
