The Russian Ministry of Justice has added publicist and political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky and journalist Ilya Shepelin to the register of “foreign agents.”
The register also includes:
- Evgeny Kochegin, former coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters in Volgograd;
- Kirill Sedov, host of Khodorkovsky Live;
- Yuri Fedorov, military expert.
According to the Russian Ministry of Justice, among other things, they participated in the distribution of materials from “foreign agents,” worked for them or “interacted” with them, disseminated “false information” about the policies of the Russian authorities, and spoke out against the “special operation” in Ukraine.
