The Ministry of Labor and Social Development ordered 230 thousand certificates for family members of deceased combat veterans
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has ordered almost a million certificates for combat veterans and relatives of deceased war veterans and disabled people. “Vorstka” discovered such a tender on the government procurement portal. The numbers may indirectly indicate the approximate scale of the Russian group participating in the battles and losses.

The Ministry of Labor ordered 757,305 combat veteran certificates and 230,000 certificates for “family members of a deceased (deceased) disabled war veteran, participant in the Great Patriotic War and combat veteran”).” The initial cost of this work is estimated at 79 million rubles.
The documentation states that 600 thousand printed IDs of combatants will be distributed to the Ministry of Defense, 86,805 - to the Ministry of Social Protection, 60 thousand - to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 10 thousand - to the Russian Guard, 500 - to the Ministry of Construction. As for certificates for family members of the victims, 200 thousand will be distributed to the Ministry of Defense, another 30 thousand - to the Ministry of Social Protection.
Since June, the list of those who are entitled to certificates of a “family member of a deceased (deceased) disabled war veteran, participant in the Great Patriotic War and combat veteran” includes not only relatives of regular army soldiers, but also volunteers killed in the war.
Earlier, in May 2023, the department entered into a government contract worth 14 million rubles for printing documents, which also included 95,907 certificates of combat veterans and 23,716 for family members of the deceased.
Last year, the scale of ID printing was significantly smaller. In the summer of 2022, the Ministry of Labor ordered the printing of 82,840 forms of certificates for combat veterans and 5,777 certificates for family members of the deceased, the contract amount was 9.8 million rubles.
During the war, the Ministry of Labor has already ordered a total of 936,052 certificates for combat veterans .
According to State Procurement, the Ministry of Labor even before the war ordered the printing of certificate forms for combat veterans and family members of the dead. The number distributed to the Ministry of Defense was orders of magnitude smaller, and the number of certificates for family members of the deceased decreased from year to year. The certificates were received by family members of those killed in the Great Patriotic War, as well as during other conflicts.
