
From April 20 to April 29, the company "Foreigno" and the Consulate General of Sweden in St. Petersburg will present a large retrospective of Ingmara Bergman in the Aurora cinema.
According to the website of the company "Noveokino", the retrospective is dedicated to the centenary of the director's birthday. Six of his films will be presented by film critic Mikhail Trofimenkov and theater critic and candidate of art history Natalya Skorokhod:

● "Gunnar" ( Gunnar , Russia-Shvesty, 2014), dir. Daniil Nevsky; The film about the Swedish operator Gunnar Fisher, who shot 12 films with Ingmar Bergman;
● "Remembering Ingmara Bergman" ( Minnet AV Ingmar Bergman , Finland, 2018), dir. Yorn Donner; The film is mainly based on two television interviews with Bergman, which the Finnish writer and director Yorn Donner shot in 1975 and 1987;
● "Island of Bergman" ( Bergman Island , Sweden, 2006), dir. Marie Nyurere; In this film, the 88-year-old Bergman first represents its secluded and mysterious world of the island of the Forer in the Baltic Sea.
